Position Overview
Role: Deputy Manager – Corporate Secretariat
Reporting to: Company Secretary
Location: Karachi
Contract Type: Permanent
Key Accountabilities
- Assist the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance with SECP (Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan) and PSX (Pakistan Stock Exchange) regulations.
- Liaise with the share registrar (FAMCO) on shareholder and company matters.
- Prepare and file various directors’ related forms with SECP.
- Monitor directors’ trading activities and report to PSX as required.
- Support the Company Secretary, CFO, CEO, and sponsors in various assignments when needed.
- Maintain the Directors’ attendance register.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors
- LLB degree with 4-7 years of experience in a listed company.
- Expertise in secretarial compliance, including dividend and bonus distributions, investment-related matters, and filing returns with SECP.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
