Key Responsibilities & Duties:
As a Deputy Manager EHS & Sustainability at CRESCENT Bahüman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our commitment to environmental health, safety, and sustainability standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) Portal Management: Oversee and manage the ZDHC portal to ensure compliance with hazardous chemical discharge standards.
- Coordinate Higg FEM & FSLM Assessment: Collaborate with relevant teams to coordinate and verify compliance with industry sustainability standards, including the Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) and Facility Social & Labor Module (FSLM).
- Digital Chemical Inventory Management: Implement and manage digital chemical inventory systems through BHIVE and CLEANCHAIN portals to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- RSL & MRSL Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with Restricted Substance List (RSL) and Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL) requirements.
- Prepare & Facilitate COC Audits: Lead the preparation and facilitation of Chain of Custody (COC) audits, ensuring compliance with customer-specific environmental and chemical requirements.
- Chemical Verification: Ensure chemical verification processes adhere to both regulatory and internal standards.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Environmental or Chemical Engineering
Work Experience:
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in environmental and chemical compliance management
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- IMS (Integrated Management System) implementation knowledge
- Risk assessment expertise
- Awareness of local and international environmental and safety standards
