Pakistan Cables, a flagship member of the AMIR S. CHINOY GROUP, is seeking a talented individual to join our team as Deputy Manager in Production. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, innovation, and quality within our manufacturing operations. Based in S.I.T.E and Nooriabad, this position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Candidates must hold a B.E/M.E degree in Polymer, Chemical, or Material Engineering, or equivalent from an HEC recognized university.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with extrusion equipment and production floor operations is required. Knowledge of polymer rheology, material properties, and processing parameters is an added advantage.
- Relevant Industry: Experience in manufacturing, textile, electrical, or electronic appliances is preferred.
- Age: Maximum age limit up to 35 years.
Key Job Responsibilities:
As Deputy Manager in Production, your responsibilities will include:
- Problem Resolution: Investigating and resolving production issues related to extrusion equipment, material properties, or process parameters to minimize downtime.
- Process Optimization: Implementing comprehensive techniques in polymer processing to optimize extrusion processes for maximum efficiency and quality.
- Record Maintenance: Maintaining complete records of production metrics, equipment maintenance, and process parameters.
- R&D Support: Facilitating R&D and Polymers teams in developing formulations and processes for new cable development from lab-scale to production.
- Capacity Enhancement: Developing and leading initiatives to increase extruder capacity and reliability, ensuring peak efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Developing and executing quality assurance procedures for extrusion processes, including in-line inspection techniques and statistical process control methods.
- Training Development: Developing training modules on best practices for polymer processing, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
