Job Description

As the Deputy General Manager – Projects, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of mechanical engineering projects and ensuring their successful completion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Planning and Development: Collaborating with department heads and management to develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, schedules, and budgets.
• Project Execution: Overseeing ongoing projects, such as HVAC, Boiler, Renewable energy, and construction, while ensuring adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
• Resource Management: Efficiently allocating and managing resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, for multiple projects simultaneously to achieve project goals while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Management: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Communication and Reporting: Communicating project updates, milestones, and potential risks clearly and proactively to stakeholders, while implementing strategies to address challenges and ensure timely project completion.

Experience and Qualifications

To be considered for the position of Deputy General Manager – Projects, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Experience: Over 15 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering and project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Education: M.E/B.E in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Skills: In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical engineering and project management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
