Role Overview
As an FSD Cashier, you’ll be the critical link between patients and administrative efficiency. Your role ensures smooth financial transactions, accurate billing support, and compassionate public interaction – directly contributing to the hospital’s reputation for exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities

Patient-Focused Transactions: Handle cash, receipts, and billing inquiries with accuracy and integrity.

Billing Coordination: Refer complex queries to the billing team/HOD and ensure timely resolution.

Shift Accountability: Reconcile accounts and close daily transactions error-free before shift end.

Operational Support: Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks as directed by the HOD.

Compliance: Adhere strictly to financial protocols and data security standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
-
Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc); Graduates (BA/BSc) preferred.
Experience

1–2 years as a cashier (healthcare/banking/retail experience valued).
Competencies

Public Dealing: Warm, patient-centric communication skills.

Tech Proficiency:

Typing speed ≥ 40 WPM.

Comfort with billing software (training provided).
