ALkaram Textile Mills Pvt. Ltd, a leading textile company in Pakistan, is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various operational and managerial activities within the textile production process. Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the textile production process, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, planning, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
- Support the implementation of production plans and schedules to meet customer demands.
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to optimize productivity.
- Assist in managing and supervising production staff, providing guidance and support to achieve production targets.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in implementing quality control measures and conducting inspections to maintain product quality standards.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and supplies for production.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and conducting periodic stock audits.
- Assist in analyzing production data and generating reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in textile manufacturing.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in process optimization projects.
- Assist in resolving production-related issues and customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements:
- Textile graduate degree or a relevant field.
- Knowledge of textile production processes, machinery, and quality control standards.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Prior experience in textile production or related roles is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
