Are you a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for product design? Master Group of Industries is looking for an Assistant Manager – Product Design to join our team. With a rich history since 1963, we are a renowned company in the industry, and we invite you to be a part of our journey.
Role Description:
As an Assistant Manager – Product Design, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful design and development of our products. Your key responsibilities include:
- Technical Drawings: Utilize design software such as Photoshop and AutoCAD to create precise technical drawings for prototyping.
- Specification Accuracy: Ensure that all specifications and dimensions are accurately and comprehensively documented in the drawings.
- Prototyping: Create prototypes of shortlisted designs in accordance with the specifications finalized in the technical drawings.
- Cost Management: Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM) and work on lean management principles to ensure the product is launched within the budget.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the marketing team to arrange photoshoots for newly developed products, contributing to their successful launch.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in product design.
- Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and AutoCAD.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of lean management principles is a plus.
