Qarshi Industries (PVT.) Ltd., a well-established name in the industry, is looking for a General Manager Engineering to join their team in Hattar. This is a senior management position with responsibility for leading the engineering department and ensuring that all engineering practices align with company goals. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in engineering leadership, project management, and process optimization, preferably in FMCG or pharmaceutical industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide direction and leadership to the engineering department, ensuring alignment with company mission, vision, and strategic goals.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement engineering strategies that support production goals and business objectives.
- Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from planning to execution, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Resource and Budget Management: Manage project resources and budgets effectively, ensuring efficient use of materials and labor.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering innovation, professional growth, and high performance.
- Operational Efficiency: Implement best practices and technologies to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation in engineering practices and champion continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to integrate engineering solutions into all business operations.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the engineering sector, ideally in FMCG or Pharma.
- At least 5 years in a senior management role, demonstrating leadership and strategic decision-making.
- Age: Between 35-45 years.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in project management, with a track record of successful project completions.
- Deep understanding of engineering processes, quality standards, and production goals.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to optimize operations.
- Ability to drive change, implement new technologies, and improve existing systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
