This role is essential for ensuring the smooth execution of curriculum planning and training, particularly for the IGCSE/O Level (Cambridge Curriculum) students.

Job Summary:

As an Assistant Manager Curriculum and Training, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing high-quality lesson plans, assessments, and training sessions for the teaching staff. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing academic standards by aligning curriculum delivery with IGCSE policies and educational best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Planning: Prepare and submit weekly lesson plans that are aligned with the assigned subject and the IGCSE curriculum, adhering to IGCSE policies.
• Assessment Design: Design assessments that reflect the Cambridge command words and marking schemes, ensuring they align with the scheme of work and curriculum.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze assessment results to identify learning gaps and implement corrective measures to improve student learning outcomes.
• Departmental Collaboration: Contribute to the academic planning and departmental activities, collaborating with other team members to enhance the learning experience.
• Training Development: Design and conduct subject-specific training sessions for the teaching staff to improve the quality of instruction and align with the curriculum objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Preference for candidates with an O/A Levels background.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other digital tools.
  • Familiarity with online teaching tools and learning strategies is essential.
• Experience:
  • 3-5 years of proven teaching experience at IGCSE/O Level (Cambridge Curriculum).
  • At least one year in an academic leadership role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in designing high-quality lesson plans and assessments.
• Ability to analyze student performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Experience in conducting training and workshops for teaching staff.
• Familiarity with Cambridge Curriculum and IGCSE standards.
• Ability to adapt and utilize digital tools effectively for teaching and assessment.
