The position is available for multiple subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies, Computer Science, Urdu, Economics, Business Studies, and Accounting.
Role Overview:
UCS is seeking experienced and highly skilled Senior School Teachers to deliver top-quality education to students. The selected candidates will be responsible for teaching O/A Level subjects, curriculum development, conducting assessments, and ensuring effective implementation of the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Develop and implement lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessments aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE/O Level curriculum.
- Subject Expertise: Deliver engaging and informative lessons in your respective subject areas, ensuring content is both challenging and accessible to students.
- Assessments and Evaluation: Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and assignments that align with Cambridge standards.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a student-centered classroom environment focused on engagement, inclusivity, and academic growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with school leadership to align curriculum delivery with academic goals and objectives.
- Professional Development: Contribute to academic meetings, providing valuable input in curriculum decisions and teaching strategies.
- Student Support: Offer additional support to students through differentiated instruction and be proactive in identifying learning needs.
Core Competencies & Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
BS/Master’s in the relevant subject (O/A Level background preferred). - Experience:
3-5 years of proven teaching experience in IGCSE/O Level (Cambridge Curriculum), with at least 1 year in a supervisory/academic leadership role. - Subject Knowledge:
Sound knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE/O/A Level assessment criteria, paper approaches, and examiner reports. - Skills:
- Proficient in MS-Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other digital tools.
- Expertise in lesson planning, curriculum development, and teaching strategies for the Cambridge curriculum.
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and strategies for effective virtual learning.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage and motivate students.
- Ability to design and administer assessments and assignments that meet Cambridge curriculum standards.
- Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
