Style Textile, a leading name in the textile industry, is hiring for the position of Executive – QC Coordination. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong background in textile or chemical engineering and a passion for ensuring product quality and consistency. The Executive will play a vital role in coordinating quality control efforts between the QC team, dyeing, and finishing departments to ensure products meet the required standards.
Job Summary:
The Executive – QC Coordination will be responsible for ensuring that all quality control processes related to dyeing and finishing are effectively executed. This includes managing shade decisions, coordinating post-QC actions, and overseeing the resolution of any quality issues that arise. The role requires excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills to support smooth operations within the QC and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the QC team: Work closely with the QC team on shade decisions and execute the required post-QC actions for dyeing and finishing.
- Review QC-held lots: Evaluate lots held by QC and report findings to the Senior Manager Finishing/Operations Head for further review.
- Provide matching mocks: Deliver matching mocks to dyeing shifts for separately dyed trims and collect body fabric mocks from the QC department.
- Manage operators: Oversee operators and ensure that physical activities related to QC decisions, such as trolley movement and swatch deliveries, are carried out efficiently.
- Prepare reports: Review shade cut-outs and held lots from previous shifts, prepare relevant reports, and organize pro-forma for Operations.
Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Textile Engineering.
- Experience: 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in knitwear companies.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise between departments and stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of Orgatex, ERP, and IMS systems.
