MCB Bank, one of the leading financial institutions in Pakistan, is seeking a qualified and experienced Manager – Credit Review to join its Risk Management Group. Job Summary:
As the Manager – Credit Review, you will play a vital role in managing and reviewing the credit portfolio of the bank. This position involves evaluating credit risks, reviewing existing credit facilities, and ensuring the bank’s credit policies are adhered to. Your contributions will help ensure the bank’s lending practices are safe, sound, and comply with internal and external regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Review and Risk Evaluation: Conduct regular credit reviews to assess the quality and risk levels of the credit portfolio.
- Policy Implementation: Ensure the bank’s credit policies and procedures are being followed and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Risk Management: Analyze potential credit risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks while aligning with the bank’s objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments like the Credit Risk and Compliance teams to ensure seamless credit management and risk assessment processes.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports on the credit review process and present findings to senior management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal credit management policies.
Key Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience:
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, or related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in credit review, credit risk management, or a similar field, preferably within the banking industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
