We are currently seeking a Domiciliary Manager to oversee and coordinate the hospital’s home healthcare services. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and safe care to patients at home while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Summary:

The Domiciliary Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the hospital’s domiciliary (home healthcare) services. This includes ensuring that patients receive effective and compassionate care at home, overseeing the performance of the home care team, and managing all aspects of domiciliary operations, including patient care planning, staffing, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise day-to-day domiciliary care operations.
• Ensure proper care planning, risk assessments, and detailed documentation for each patient.
• Manage and oversee domiciliary nursing staff, caregivers, and administrative teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide integrated patient care.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and internal hospital policies.
• Develop and manage service budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct staff training, performance appraisals, and address any staff issues.
• Resolve patient and family concerns promptly to ensure quality service delivery.
• Implement and drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Generate and present performance reports to senior management on service outcomes and metrics.

Knowledge & Competencies:

• Clinical Knowledge: A strong understanding of patient care protocols, medication management, and nursing practices in a home care setting.
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of healthcare laws, infection control standards, and licensing requirements for home healthcare services.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team to perform at their best.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
• Empathy & Patience: A caring attitude with the ability to handle patient needs sensitively.
• Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and adjust care plans as patient needs change.
• Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making and analytical skills in dynamic situations.

Requirements:

• Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Must be registered with a recognized healthcare regulatory authority (if applicable).
• Work Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare, with at least 3 years in a home care or domiciliary services department.
