Job Responsibilities:
As a Lab Incharge, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our fabrics. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating and maintaining various fabric testing equipment
- Implementing quality control processes and standards
- Understanding different types of fabrics, fibers, and their properties
- Utilizing software for data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Troubleshooting testing issues and proposing effective solutions
- Adhering to industry regulations and standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO, AATCC)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Textiles, Chemistry, or Engineering)
- At least 5 years of experience in a textile or commercial lab environment
- Proficiency in fabric testing methodologies and equipment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines effectively
