Position: Purchase Executive
Location: F.B. Area, Karachi
Required Experience: 3 to 5 years
Required Education: Graduation/Masters
Skills & Abilities Required:
- Proficient in the process of locally & internationally garment trims purchasing.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong soft skills in communication.
- Ability to work in a tense, pressurized environment.
- Well-versed in vendor management and monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle/SAP.
- Excellent documentation skills, including purchase orders and rate quotations.
- Strong follow-up skills with suppliers.
- Proficiency in negotiation and communication.
- Sound product knowledge is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work efficiently in a tense, pressurized environment, ensuring timely procurement activities.
- Effectively manage vendors and monitor their performance to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Provide valuable suggestions for the improvement and implementation of departmental processes.
- Utilize ERP systems professionally to streamline procurement processes.
- Prepare documentation swiftly, including purchase orders and rate quotations.
- Maintain strong communication and follow-up skills with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Utilize excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and prices for the organization.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of product specifications and requirements.
