Key Responsibilities & Duties:
As a Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager in Supply Chain, your responsibilities will include:
- Yarn Sourcing: Identifying and sourcing yarn from reliable suppliers to meet production needs.
- Vendor Development: Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.
- Product Costing: Calculating product costs accurately to inform pricing decisions and maintain profitability.
- Timely Deliveries: Following up with vendors to ensure timely deliveries as per production requirements.
Qualifications:
To qualify for these positions, you should have:
- Education: A BSc in Textile Engineering or related field.
- Work Experience: For Deputy Manager, 6 to 8 years of experience in yarn sourcing is required, while for Assistant Manager, 3 to 4 years of experience is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software is essential. Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience are also required.
