At Artistic Milliners, we believe in taking proactive steps to address climate change and promote sustainable practices within our industry and beyond. As an Energy & Climate Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting and leading the development and implementation of effective, community-centered strategies, plans, and policies for environmental change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Climate & Sustainability Projects: Support climate and sustainability projects aimed at reducing our environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices within the organization and the community.
- Qualitative Research: Conduct qualitative research on best practices related to climate change mitigation and adaptation, energy management, transportation, materials management, natural resource management, and other relevant fields.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop strategies for climate change mitigation and adaptation that are community-centered and aligned with our company’s sustainability goals.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development of policies and guidelines to promote environmental sustainability and address climate change at both organizational and community levels.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, community groups, and industry partners, to build consensus and support for environmental initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in environmental sciences, climate change, finance, economics, geography, social sciences, or related fields.
