About the Role: As an Industrial Engineer at Soorty Enterprises, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze production methods, identify areas for efficiency enhancement, and implement solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations and maximizing output while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvement.
- Develop and implement methods to increase productivity, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work procedures and improve workflow.
- Collaborate with production managers and other stakeholders to streamline operations and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Utilize industrial engineering tools and techniques to design layouts, workstations, and production systems for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor production metrics and performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for further improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes and procedures to ensure successful implementation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in industrial engineering concepts, tools, and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
