Job Title: Fashion Designer
Location: Karachi, Head Office
Job Responsibilities:
As a Fashion Designer at Chase Value, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product offerings and driving the latest trends. Your responsibilities will include:
- Market Research: Conducting comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, patterns, prints, fabrics, and techniques. Seeking design inspiration from various sources to stay ahead of the curve.
- Collaboration: Working closely with team members to select seasonal themes, refine product lines, and develop new concepts that resonate with our target audience.
- Presentation: Creating compelling storyboards, mood boards, color schemes, and samples to present to the approval team. Effectively communicating your vision and design concepts.
- Design Management: Overseeing the entire design process from initial ideation to final styling. Selecting appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials to bring your designs to life.
- Production Support: Generating detailed production sketches and development packages to guide the manufacturing process. Collaborating with the technical department to ensure accuracy and quality control.
- Quality Assurance: Reviewing products for style, fit, and quality during the presentation phase. Making necessary adjustments and improvements to meet design standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Designing or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of working experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail fashion industry.
- Strong proficiency in design software and tools.
- Excellent understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
- Creative flair, attention to detail, and ability to translate concepts into tangible designs.
