Position: Senior Officer Compliance
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in compliance within the textile industry, particularly with standards such as Higg, STEP, etc.
- Certifications: Technical Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) training certificates like NEBOSH will be preferred.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Officer Compliance, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards within the textile manufacturing process.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement and maintain compliance programs.
- Conducting audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to standards.
- Providing guidance and training to staff on compliance-related matters.
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance.
