Job Title: Quality Assurance Executive
Location: Karachi
Role and Responsibilities: As a Quality Assurance Executive at KFC, you will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to delivering safe and high-quality food to our customers. Here’s a closer look at the key responsibilities associated with this role:
- Incoming and Outgoing Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles to ensure the integrity of the food supply chain.
- Daily Material Inspection: Perform daily inspections of incoming materials according to specifications, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Integrated Pest Management (IPM): Monitor and lead integrated pest management activities, maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Food Safety Audits: Ensure compliance with food safety audits, maintaining the Yum Audit checklist, and documenting activities on a daily basis.
- Packaging Product Evaluation: Conduct evaluations of packaging products against brand standards and specifications. Coordinate closely with suppliers in case of non-compliance.
- Cold Supply Chain Evaluation: Evaluate the cold supply chain from dispatch to delivery, ensuring the integrity of the food products during transportation.
- Restaurant Visits: Conduct visits to restaurants to assess and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Employee Training: Conduct training sessions for employees on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and food safety. Assist the regional QA Manager in training employees required for audits.
Qualification & Experience: To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 2 Years of QA Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance in a related industry.
- Educational Background: A graduate in Food Science & Technology is required for this role.
- Certification/Knowledge on GFSI: Familiarity with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards is advantageous.
