Job Title: Security Incharge (Plastic-Metal)

Location: Unit 04, SITE Phase 2, M-9, Karachi, Sindh 75850

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM

Job Overview: As the Security Incharge at Utopia Industries (Pvt) Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing security operations. This pivotal role involves supervising security staff, implementing security protocols, and ensuring the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and assets. Your leadership will set an example, providing direction, guidance, and expertise in all aspects of security management.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage security staff, assigning duties, and overseeing their performance.
• Provide guidance and support to the security team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Oversee day-to-day security operations of the organization or facility.
• Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems. Coordinate and direct security patrols, inspections, and response procedures.
• Provide training and orientation to security staff on security protocols, emergency response, and customer service.
• Identify potential security vulnerabilities and conduct risk assessments to address weaknesses.
• Oversee security staff in responding to incidents, emergencies, and breaches.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Stay informed about advancements in security technology and recommend upgrades as necessary.
• Review incident reports, security logs, and documentation to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure that security practices and procedures comply with industry standards and relevant regulations.
• Conduct drills and simulations to ensure staff is well-prepared for crisis situations, if any.
• Conduct internal investigations into security breaches, misconduct, and other incidents requiring examination.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in overseeing security operations, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Good communication skills are a must for collaborating with different teams.
• Working knowledge of public safety, security operations, and procedures.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
