Job Description: As a Deputy Manager in Research & Development at Sapphire, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and creativity in textile design and development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate new textile designs into our products, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with the production team to ensure a seamless transition from design to manufacturing. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and sustainable practices is essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive innovation and creative solutions in textile design and development.
- Apply your deep understanding of textile design to create new fabrics, materials, and textile-based products.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate textile designs into final products.
- Ensure the seamless transition of designs into manufacturing processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and sustainable practices.
- Maintain and update the design library for customers and key stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and sustainable practices.
