Job Description:
As a Purchase Specialist at MMC Apparel, you will play a vital role in our procurement and supply chain management. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of the procurement process, including but not limited to:
- Certifications Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant certifications in the procurement process.
- Budget & Variance: Managing procurement budgets and monitoring variances.
- Procurement Lead Time: Efficiently managing and reducing procurement lead times.
- On-Time Procurement: Ensuring all procurement activities are conducted on schedule.
- Price Negotiation: Skillfully negotiating prices with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Payment Terms: Managing payment terms and ensuring timely payments.
- Procurement Quality: Upholding high procurement quality standards.
- Supplier Evaluation: Assessing and evaluating the performance of suppliers.
- Supplier Development: Collaborating with suppliers for continuous improvement.
- Trim & Accessories Ageing: Managing the aging of trim and accessories inventory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, BBA, or MBA in Supply Chain Management.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management.
