As a Unit Head – Branchless Banking at MCB Bank Limited, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of the branchless banking unit. This is an entry-level position that requires a Bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the branchless banking unit.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve business targets and expand the branchless banking customer base.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and policies governing branchless banking operations.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and improve service offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, agents, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of branchless banking staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to the team members.
- Implement effective risk management practices and controls to mitigate potential fraud and operational risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and customer support, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the branchless banking sector.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Banking.
- Knowledge of branchless banking regulations, operations, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with digital banking technologies and mobile financial services.
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications.
- Strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in branchless banking, banking operations, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
