Position Overview
Role: Textile Designer – Female
As a Textile Designer at Union Fabrics, you will be at the forefront of creating captivating designs, prints, and patterns for women’s apparel. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing textile designs aligned with brand aesthetics and current market trends.
- Crafting appealing color palettes that resonate with the overall design and preferences of the target demographic.
- Staying updated on the latest fashion trends and color forecasts to ensure designs are contemporary and market-relevant.
- Utilizing design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for the digital representation of textile designs.
- Collaborating with the operations team to create prototypes and samples, ensuring the feasibility of designs in production.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field. A strong educational foundation in design principles will be essential for excelling in this role.
Experience
Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Textile Designing, showcasing a strong portfolio of diverse textile designs and patterns. Proficiency in design software, particularly Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, is crucial.
