Position: Team Lead – Finish Folding
Job Description: As a Team Lead – Finish Folding at Alkaram, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality standards of our finished products. With 7 to 8 years of relevant experience, you will leverage your expertise to lead and coordinate the finish folding department. Your responsibilities will include developing and nurturing working relationships within the department, ensuring fabric inspection, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, quality trend analysis, and staff training. You will also contribute to sustainable solutions for challenges, with a focus on potential buyers and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in quality control or related roles.
- A graduate degree is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to maintain working relationships and ensure departmental performance aligned with Alkaram’s standards.
- Thorough knowledge of fabric inspection and quality control processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Foster and maintain working relationships within the department, ensuring alignment with Alkaram’s requirements.
- Oversee proper fabric inspection to meet quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and quality trend analysis.
- Research and develop solutions for potential buyers’ challenges, focusing on sustainability.
- Ensure timely training of staff and team members.
- Properly segregate and identify non-conforming products at all stages.
- Ensure compliance with organic fabric identification and GOTS standards.
- Analyze daily quality reports for A, B, and R grades.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
