Key Responsibilities of a Shift Manager:
- Leadership & Team Management: As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team during your shift. You will oversee staff, ensure smooth operations, and maintain the high standards KFC is known for.
- Customer Service Excellence: Providing excellent customer service will be at the core of your role. You’ll be expected to maintain customer satisfaction, resolve any issues, and uphold the brand’s values.
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure that daily operations, such as kitchen operations, inventory management, and staff coordination, run efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: You will be responsible for training new employees, ensuring they adhere to KFC’s operational procedures and customer service standards.
- Problem Solving: Address any operational challenges that arise during your shift, from staff management to customer complaints.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree is required for the role.
- Experience: You should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the Retail or QSR industries. Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle the challenges and fast-paced environment typical of a restaurant setting.
