The Role Unveiled:
As a Senior Executive, Accounts Payable, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payment processing. Here’s what the role entails:
Invoice Processing:
- Review and verify invoices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure their timely and accurate processing.
Vendor Management:
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and other related matters.
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve outstanding issues, and establish positive relationships with vendors.
Payment Processing:
- Prepare and process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments to obtain necessary approvals for payment and ensure compliance with payment terms.
Month-End Reconciliation:
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
- Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes.
Reporting:
- Generate and analyze reports related to accounts payable.
- Provide financial reports and analysis to management as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
- 04 to 05 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
