Job Description:
As a Senior Engineer in Plant Performance, you will embark on a journey of continuous improvement, overseeing the intricate details of our dyeing and finishing processes. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Delve deep into the heart of production issues, conducting detailed RCA on various aspects including shortfall dyeing reasons, shade issues, maintenance concerns, and fabric quality discrepancies.
- Solution Execution: Implement solutions derived from RCA findings, ensuring timely execution and escalation of unresolved issues to relevant departments for swift resolution.
- Performance Reporting: Develop comprehensive plant performance reports, providing insights into operational efficiency and areas for improvement. Timely updates to key stakeholders such as Ops Head, Plant Head, and GM Processing are essential.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct random floor audits to verify the implementation of solutions and adherence to established processes by production teams, ensuring consistency and quality output.
Ideal Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Textile Engineering is essential.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in managing production processes within the process industry, particularly in textile manufacturing.
- Skills: Proficiency in problem-solving, logical thinking, and strong team management are prerequisites. Expertise in data analytics and root cause analysis is highly desirable. Proficiency in MS Excel is a must, while proficiency in PowerPoint visualization skills is preferred.
