Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Sales Strategy and Marketing Plans: Developing and implementing sales strategies and marketing plans to achieve company sales goals and profitability targets.
  • Sales Execution and Monitoring: Compiling and executing zone-wise and area-wise sales plans to achieve primary and secondary sales targets, ensuring product availability and market penetration.
  • Market Analysis and Intelligence: Conducting regular market visits to gather market intelligence, analyze trends, monitor competition activities, and communicate insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Asset Utilization: Supervising and ensuring optimal utilization of company assets in the market, including coolers, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Distribution Management: Overseeing distribution operations through software tools to optimize sales operations, manage inventory, and ensure adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI).

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Experience: 7-8 years of relevant sales experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and managing distribution networks.
  • Qualification: BBA/MBA or equivalent degree with specialization in Marketing.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, strategic thinking abilities, and proficiency in sales operations management.
  • FMCG Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of FMCG sales dynamics, distribution management, and market analysis.
