🎯 Key Accountabilities

As a Project Safety Officer, your primary goal will be to ensure the health and safety of all employees and the protection of company assets and the environment. You will play a vital role in monitoring, implementing, and improving workplace safety systems and standards.

• Evaluate and monitor workplace conditions related to health and safety risks. Implement company safety policies to ensure zero harm to people, equipment, and the environment.

• Inspect project sites regularly to ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations, codes, and guidelines.

• Implement and conduct Occupational Health & Safety (OSHA) training programs for staff, contractors, and other stakeholders in coordination with the Safety Department.

• Conduct daily Toolbox Talk sessions with project teams to raise awareness about safety practices.

• Ensure compliance with SEPA (Sindh Environmental Protection Agency) guidelines.

• Identify and intervene in any unsafe acts or conditions that violate the company’s SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) policies.

• Document incidents, near-misses, and accidents accurately, and maintain records using the company’s SHEQ software.

• Develop and implement preventive measures to eliminate future occurrences.

• Support the Head of SHE in carrying out safety audits, emergency drills, and risk assessments.

This role requires a proactive professional who is vigilant, analytical, and capable of managing diverse safety operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

🎓 Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

• Candidates with additional certifications in safety management or environmental protection will have an advantage.

• IOSH Managing Safety certification is preferred and demonstrates a professional commitment to workplace safety excellence.
