We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager Supply Chain to join our team in Lahore. Key Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Manager Supply Chain at PCL, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of our supply chain operations. Here are the key accountabilities associated with this role:
- Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with our suppliers to ensure efficient procurement processes and timely delivery of materials.
- Procurement of Material: Sourcing materials within agreed lead times, optimizing procurement strategies to meet organizational goals.
- New Vendor Development: Identifying and developing relationships with new vendors and exploring alternate material options to drive cost savings and enhance supply chain resilience.
- Rebate and Trade Gain: Proactively seeking opportunities to maximize rebate benefits and trade gains, contributing to overall cost optimization efforts.
- Business Continuity Planning: Assisting in the development, updating, and monitoring of business continuity plans to mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions effectively.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:
To thrive in the role of Assistant Manager Supply Chain, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Educational Background: A BSc in Engineering with 0-1 year of relevant experience.
- Basic Knowledge of Supply Chain: Familiarity with supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
- Negotiation & Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation skills coupled with strong communication abilities to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate and work seamlessly within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives.
- Proficiency with Tools: Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and SAP software for data analysis, reporting, and supply chain management tasks.
