Master Group of Industries is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee and manage the end-to-end production operations of RHL Foam. This is a crucial role that ensures efficient execution across all stages of foam production, including mixing, pouring, curing, and cutting, while maintaining high-quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising the entire production process of RHL foam, ensuring all operations are executed efficiently and meet quality standards. Your specific duties will include:
- Overseeing Foam Production: Supervise the complete production process, from raw material mixing to pouring the foam into molds, curing under controlled conditions, and precise cutting.
- Foam Formulation and Machine Settings: Ensure the correct implementation of foam formulations, validate and adjust machine settings before and during production to maintain consistent product quality.
- Monitoring Process Parameters: Monitor critical production parameters such as temperature, pressure, and timings to ensure optimal performance and adherence to production specifications.
- Collaboration with QC Team: Work closely with the Quality Control (QC) team to evaluate finished products, address any non-conformities, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement to reduce material waste, enhance productivity, and minimize downtime.
- Production Reporting and Documentation: Accurately record daily production data, including raw material usage, output, downtime, and batch performance, and enter this data into ERP systems or Excel-based tracking sheets for inventory and audit purposes.
- Compliance with Safety Standards: Enforce safety protocols, maintain proper housekeeping practices, and ensure adherence to SOPs at all stages of production.
Qualifications and Experience:
To qualify for the Production Engineer position, candidates should have:
- Education: BSc in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
- Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar production environment, preferably related to foam or material manufacturing.
