Responsibilities:
As a Procurement & Planning Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of procurement and planning activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory requirements.
- Monitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand patterns, and identifying opportunities to optimize inventory turnover and minimize stockouts.
- Conducting market research and staying updated on industry trends to make informed procurement decisions and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Implementing efficient planning processes and tools to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) is required. An MBA degree is preferable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical buyer or procurement role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from 60,000 to 70,000 PKR, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to competitive compensation, the selected candidate will be entitled to benefits as per company policy.
