As a Process Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our power plant operations. Position: Process Safety Manager (Power Plant)
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 10-12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5-7 years in an HSE leadership role.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of process hazards analysis, HAZOP, risk assessment, and management. Previous experience in plant operations, particularly in petrochemical or power plants, is preferred. Familiarity with HAZOP/PHA techniques and risk assessments is highly desirable.
Overall Responsibilities:
As the Process Safety Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership and guidance in implementing process safety management systems in accordance with company guidelines.
- Leading process hazards analysis, HAZOP, incident investigation, and reporting management.
- Conducting risk assessments, job hazard analysis, and HSE management systems audits.
- Monitoring HSE key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarking with best performers.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and striving for regulatory compliance as per local laws and regulations. Knowledge of integrated management systems (IMS) will be advantageous.
