Job Title: Operations Officer (Digital Accounts)

Eligibility:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience, preferably in centralized account opening or branch banking operations as an operations officer.
  • Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (B. Com, BSC, BBA) from a reputable university. Qualification in Islamic Finance will be preferred.

Job Description:

EZ Meezan Bank, the Premier Islamic Bank, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join our Digital Account Center in Centralized Operations at our Head Office in Karachi. As an Operations Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of digital account opening documentation while adhering to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CFT (Countering the Financing of Terrorism) guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Scrutiny: Perform thorough scrutiny of digital account opening documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Data Entry: Input correct and proper customer information into relevant systems, maintaining data integrity and security.
  • Compliance: Check account opening forms in terms of AML & CFT guidelines and policies, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (B. Com, BSC, BBA) from a reputable university.
  • Qualification in Islamic Finance will be preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of AML & CFT guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
