Job Role Overview:

As the National Sales Manager (NSM), you will assume a pivotal role in driving sales strategies and achieving business objectives within the Gastro Therapeutic Area. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, team management, and fostering collaborative relationships to propel the company’s growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share in the Gastro Therapeutic Area. Leverage your industry insights and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of competitive trends.
  • Team Management and Development: Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to optimize individual and team performance. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, and internal cross-functional teams. Collaborate closely with marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory departments to ensure alignment and synergy across business functions.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor sales performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze market dynamics to drive informed decision-making. Implement corrective measures and strategic adjustments as needed to achieve sales targets.
  • Market Expansion and Brand Awareness: Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets to expand the company’s footprint in the Gastro Therapeutic Area. Develop targeted promotional campaigns and educational initiatives to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a focus on the Gastro Therapeutic Area. Demonstrated track record of success in sales leadership roles is preferred.
  • Location: This position is based in Karachi, offering a vibrant and dynamic work environment in the heart of Pakistan’s commercial hub.
