Position Overview: As the Manager of Lamination & Extrusion at Packages Convertors, you will be entrusted with key responsibilities aimed at optimizing machine performance, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Here’s a detailed look at what this role entails:
Key Accountabilities:
- Increase OEE of Machines:
- Drive initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) for lamination and extrusion machines.
- Reduction in Process Scrap Rates:
- Implement strategies to minimize process scrap rates, ensuring a more streamlined and sustainable production process.
- Reduction in Non-Conformances:
- Lead efforts to reduce both internal and external non-conformances, promoting a culture of quality excellence.
- Team Development:
- Develop and mentor the team to achieve their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), fostering a high-performance culture.
- Execution of New Projects:
- Lead the execution of new projects in the area, focusing on capacity increase and cost-cutting initiatives.
- Extrusion Recipe Optimization:
- Optimize extrusion recipes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Responsibility for SHEQ KPIs:
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, meeting and exceeding key performance indicators.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:
- Education: BSc in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Chemical/Polymer).
- Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in lamination and extrusion processes.
- Technical Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of the extrusion process, machines, and materials.
- Familiarity with flexible packaging raw materials and their processes.
- Behavioral Traits:
- Reliability, supportiveness, and a participative, result-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
