Position Alert Ltd is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Manager – Merchandising for our Garments Division. Qualification and Experience:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Qualification: MBA in Marketing or BSc in Textile Engineering.
- Experience: 6 to 8 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in the garments sector.
Job Role:
As the Manager – Merchandising (Garments Division), your responsibilities will include:
- Customer Development: Developing and expanding our customer base while inducting new customers into our portfolio.
- Coordination: Handing over all development and pre-production information across relevant departments for execution.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring that production meets set parameters and quality standards to achieve desired shipment levels.
- Operational Resolution: Resolving operational issues that arise during bulk production to maintain efficiency.
- Documentation Management: Updating online portals such as ERP, Production Track file, and Critical Path (CP) with relevant information.
- Production Planning: Preparing, monitoring, and following up on the production plan as per Time & Action (TnA) timelines.
- Compliance: Ensuring all testing requirements are met according to each buyer’s protocol and facilitating auditor visits, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
