Job Opportunity: Manager – Internal Audit
Location: Utopia Head Office, Plot H160 Z63, SITE Phase 2, M-9, Phase 2, Karachi, Sindh 75850
Working Days: Monday to Saturday Timings: 09 AM TO 06 PM
Job Overview:
Are you ready to take on a leadership role in the world of operational audit, inventory audits, and system audits? Utopia is seeking a dedicated Manager for our Internal Audit team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing controls, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Expertise in Textile processes is a must, as you’ll be driving audit excellence and providing valuable management insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, communicate, and oversee the execution of periodic audit plans.
- Analyze current systems and recommend improvements in internal controls.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, presentations, and related documentation for management review.
- Ensure adherence to specified timelines by following up with audit teams on ongoing tasks.
- Plan and meticulously review physical stock counts for inventory and work in progress (WIP) across all units.
- Conduct meetings with management, production, and inventory department heads to discuss audit findings and address other relevant issues.
- Identify, initiate, and follow up on system development initiatives required in various production facilities.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in Internal Audit. Preference shall be given to candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in the Textile industry.
- Minimum ACCA/ACMA qualified or CA Part qualified.
- Must have a sound knowledge of textile processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
