As part of their commitment to strengthening their technological infrastructure, Soneri Bank is looking to hire a Manager Data Warehouse to join their Finance Department.
Job Overview
The Manager Data Warehouse will be responsible for enhancing and enriching the bank’s data warehouse by developing and maintaining the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. The role also involves troubleshooting, monitoring database performance, and ensuring regular backup and recovery operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions for the bank’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- ETL Development: Enhance and enrich the Data Warehouse based on functional and business requirements. This includes managing ETL processes, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting issues.
- Database Backup and Recovery: Perform regular database backup and recovery operations to ensure data security and availability.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain up-to-date technical and functional documentation.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Effectively communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with the bank’s data strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education:
- BSCS/MCS/BS Data Science / BSSE from any HEC-recognized university.
- Additional certification in a relevant field is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), data structures, and SQL.
- Proficiency in one or more ETL tools such as SSIS or Talend. Experience with Talend Open Studio is preferred.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools like Power BI or Report Builder.
- Good programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or VB.NET.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable working with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
