Soneri Bank, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join their Credit Division in Karachi. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, and credit risk analysis. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in reviewing and managing credit proposals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the credit process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Credit Proposal Review:
  Review credit proposals in line with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations and the bank’s internal policies and procedures. Ensure that all proposals meet the necessary criteria for approval.
• Timely Disposal of Credit Proposals:
  Ensure that credit proposals are processed and disposed of within the predefined Turnaround Time (TAT). Your ability to efficiently manage these processes will be key to the role.
• Periodic Reporting:
  Submit periodic reports to SBP and other relevant authorities to ensure the bank’s credit operations are compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Workload Management Support:
  Assist the Unit Head – Credit in managing the workload efficiently to reduce turnaround time and enhance the department’s productivity.
• Compliance and Controls:
  Ensure that all credit risk management activities adhere to internal policies, ethical standards, and SBP regulations. Your role will also involve contributing to continuous improvements in the credit risk management process.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:
  Minimum 16 years of education in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, or a related field.
• Experience:
  Upto 8 years of relevant experience in credit risk analysis or a similar role within the banking sector.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of credit risk management, banking regulations, and SBP guidelines.
• Excellent analytical skills to review credit proposals and ensure they meet all necessary criteria.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
