This role is ideal for an experienced and results-driven individual who is looking to take on a leadership position in accounting and finance.
Job Overview:
As the Manager of Business Services & Outsourcing, you will lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of accounting and finance functions for multiple clients. Your primary role will be to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, tax compliance, and provide value-added financial insights to clients. You will also be responsible for supervising junior staff and ensuring smooth coordination between departments and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Portfolio Management:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of accounting and finance functions for various clients.
- Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and relevant accounting standards.
- Taxation:
- Oversee VAT/Sales Tax and Withholding Tax calculations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws.
- Client Liaison:
- Communicate with clients to understand their business needs, resolve queries, and provide financial insights.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor and supervise junior staff.
- Monitor team performance, plan resources effectively, and ensure that client deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal departments and external auditors when necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated with changes in accounting, tax regulations, and other related fields.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum Education: MBA/BBA in Finance or equivalent qualification.
- Professional Qualification: ACCA, ICMA, or equivalent (completed or finalist).
- Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Finance, preferably in Outsourcing.
Skills & Competencies:
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
