Industry Research Analyst-Al Baraka Bank-Karachi

Position: Industry Research Analyst

Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized educational institution

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in the relevant field

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and review of Risk Policies and SOPs in alignment with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices
• Review other group policies and SOPs from a Risk Management perspective, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for feedback
• Maintain proper housekeeping of risk documents, including the maintenance of MIS and physical records
• Prepare industry research outlooks for various business sectors/industries to support credit portfolio growth
• Develop Economic Reports covering various economic performance indicators for monthly reporting to ABG
• Assist in responding to policy or procedural-related audit inquiries
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Unit Head – Risk Policy

Core Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a challenging environment
• Good understanding of macroeconomic indicators and various industries operating in Pakistan
