Position Overview:

As the Headmaster/Headmistress, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the school, ensuring that educational standards are maintained, and the academic environment fosters student success. You will play a pivotal role in curriculum development, staff management, and ensuring that the school adheres to its values of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the school, ensuring the smooth functioning of all academic and administrative activities.
  • Lead and mentor the teaching staff, ensuring professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that emphasizes academic success, personal growth, and community involvement.
• Curriculum Development & Teaching:
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to implement a dynamic and progressive curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  • Ensure high-quality teaching standards and classroom management strategies are in place.
  • Develop and monitor academic policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with the school’s mission.
• Student Development:
  • Focus on the holistic development of students, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional needs are met.
  • Oversee student welfare programs, counseling services, and extracurricular activities that enhance students’ overall experience.
• Community & Parental Engagement:
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and the wider community to ensure effective collaboration in the educational process.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the school, parents, and external bodies, addressing concerns and fostering positive relationships.
• Administrative & Operational Duties:
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient school operations.
  • Ensure that the school complies with all regulatory requirements and policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:
  • MA/MSc or BA/BSc (Hons) from a recognized university.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of teaching experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or middle-management position.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational practices and curriculum development.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and school management.
