Head of Sustainability – Karachi

The Role:

As the Head of Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing a comprehensive Sustainability & Climate Action Policy and Strategy in alignment with Artistic Milliners’ steadfast commitment to sustainability. Your responsibilities will encompass:

1. Policy Development: Craft a robust Sustainability & Climate Action Policy that reflects our dedication to environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
2. Thought Leadership: Serve as a beacon of thought leadership in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters, influencing both internal strategies and external industry discourse.
3. ESG Reporting: Drive the creation of transparent and impactful external ESG reports, showcasing our progress, challenges, and aspirations.
4. Industry Collaboration: Actively engage in collaborative efforts within the industry, fostering partnerships and alliances that amplify our collective impact on sustainability.
5. Landscape Assessment: Continuously assess the sustainability landscape, identifying emerging trends, opportunities, and risks to inform strategic decision-making.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: Build meaningful relationships with external stakeholders, including labor groups, NGOs, and regulatory bodies, fostering dialogue and mutual understanding.
7. Marketing Integration: Collaborate closely with marketing teams to effectively communicate our sustainability efforts across diverse channels and platforms, amplifying our brand’s commitment to sustainability.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree, preferably in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field, providing you with the necessary academic foundation to drive impactful change.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in sustainability leadership roles, demonstrating your deep understanding of environmental and social dynamics within the corporate landscape.
