Job Summary:

The General Manager Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process across Fatima Group’s textile and sugar businesses, particularly focusing on spinning and weaving operations. The role requires extensive experience in managing procurement, logistics, vendor management, inventory control, and driving process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership in Supply Chain Operations: Lead the end-to-end supply chain processes across both textile and sugar industries. Ensure effective management of procurement, logistics, vendor relationships, and inventory control.
• Process Improvement & SOP Standardization: Drive the standardization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the supply chain while implementing continuous improvements aimed at cost optimization and operational efficiency.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Oversee vendor and contract management, including negotiations with local and international suppliers. Ensure the alignment of supply chain strategies with business objectives to enhance supplier relationships and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to optimize operations and enhance cross-functional collaboration, ensuring seamless integration between supply chain functions and business objectives.

Key Requirements:

• Education: MBA or Graduate Engineer.
• Experience: 15-20 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, particularly within the textile manufacturing industry. Experience in spinning and weaving operations is highly preferred.
• Skills & Expertise:
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, vendor management, and inventory control.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on driving process improvements and cost optimization.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management experience, both locally and internationally.
  • Ability to align supply chain strategies with business goals and objectives.
  • Expertise in managing end-to-end supply chain processes, including operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
