Job Overview:
As the General Manager of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our company’s financial operations. Your expertise in the textile industry will be crucial in ensuring the financial health and compliance of the organization. You will play a pivotal role in contributing to our overall success.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, tailored to textile industry dynamics.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to optimize resource allocation, supporting growth and profitability.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and offer mitigation recommendations in a volatile industry.
- Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements for stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, taxation, and textile industry-specific legal requirements.
- Manage funds effectively, oversee corporate investments, and establish and maintain strong relationships with leading financial institutions and top-level banks.
- Conduct in-depth analysis, providing insights for strategic decision-making in the textile sector.
- Develop a high-performing finance team to meet financial objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in the textile industry and a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Must be CA Qualified, any other relevant qualification along with it will be a plus.
- Substantial experience in financial leadership roles, particularly within the textile industry.
- Proven experience in organizations with a significant export focus is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in financial planning, risk management, and financial analysis.
- Strong financial acumen and an in-depth understanding of financial systems and processes.
- Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- In-depth knowledge of the textile industry, its dynamics, challenges, and opportunities.
- Familiarity with the textile export market is a significant advantage.
