Educational & Experience Requirements
To qualify for the Eye Phase Leader position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in English (MA) along with a B.Ed. is required.
- Candidates with a Master’s in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or Master’s in Education (M.Ed.) are preferred.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Early Years curriculum leadership or training is required. Candidates with proven leadership experience in early education will be ideal for this role.
Key Responsibilities
As the Eye Phase Leader, you will be responsible for the following:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the curriculum and educational activities for the Early Years phase, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
- Oversee the training and development of teaching staff to enhance their skills in Early Years education.
- Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement curriculum strategies to foster a stimulating learning environment.
- Ensure that the curriculum is aligned with modern pedagogical practices and addresses the diverse needs of students.
- Staff Development:
- Provide continuous support and guidance to teachers, promoting professional growth and ensuring high teaching standards.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and assessments to enhance the competency of educators in the Early Years phase.
- Student Development:
- Monitor student progress, ensuring that the teaching and learning strategies are effective in meeting developmental goals.
- Promote a positive learning environment for children, encouraging their cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other educational leaders and administrative staff to maintain seamless coordination across departments.
- Engage with parents to discuss student progress and development and ensure a collaborative approach to student welfare.
Skills & Competencies
- Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with strong interpersonal skills to guide and motivate a team of educators.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Early Years education and curriculum management.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with parents, staff, and students.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify challenges and provide innovative solutions.
